What to do? Who to invite? When to have it? These are all common questions
that most best men are faced with when they try to plan a bachlor party. Don’t freak out
– take a deep breath and get to planning!

First of all, decide on something that you know the bachlor would love to do.
Take into consideration the costs associated and then determine how many people can be
invited and exactly who. Most bachlor parties include at least close family and friends,
but there are parties that sometimes include casual friends and acquaintances. Figure out
a date that works well for everyone, but especially the bachlor. Remember, it’s his day!
There are so many options and so many ways to throw a memorable party. Most
commonly, bachlor parties include weekend getaways, random activities, and lots of
alcohol. A weekend getaway to Las Vegas, for example, is an extraordinary way to
celebrate a bachlor’s life before and after life as a single man. You can walk the strip,
play the machines, play the tables, see one of the countless shows and attractions that
Vegas is famous for, or check out a thriving nightlife scene by bar or club-hopping.
One of the most enjoyable ways to experience Vegas is actually getting there.
The drive, an open-road, speed-laced adventure, approximately 4 hours from Los
Angeles, is a great way to ramp up anticipation for a memorable weekend. Once
everyone arrives, it’s sometimes best to just let things happen; sometimes Vegas has a
mind of it’s own and it’s definitely fun to see where each day and night takes you.
Sometimes the days and nights become a blur and it’s easy to lose track of time
when you’re in the city of sin. Remember that it’s ok; just don’t lose track of the
bachlor partygoers! A lost partier or two, or worse, the bachlor himself can
unfortunately overshadow an otherwise amazing time! Use the buddy system and have a
general meeting place that’s easy to find, should someone get lost or confused.
A Vegas bachlor party is probably best with a small group of up to about 6 guys.
Any more than that, and you’ll run into a logistical nightmare like: losing guys, finding
guys, forgetting where your hotel room is, forgetting when and where you were supposed
to meet everyone else for a buffet or even how and when you are supposed to get home.
Above all else, remember that a bachlor party is supposed to be a fun and
memorable experience for the groom-to-be and everyone else involved. Have fun, be
safe, and plan the best bachlor’s party ever!
